In Patent-application-land, the hills roll on forever, while buttercups gently ripple with the breeze. Anything is possible in Patent-application-land. In this particular filling, Samsung lays out some ideas about helping you to keep your health in check. An "internet phone" and a "biological analysis device" would combine to send your vitals off to a diagnosis server, hospital or remote doctor. There's also a provision for the use of "biochips," which we hope refers to a data gathering medium, and not a half-time snack. While we're not sure if this was a precursor to the freshly announced S-health service, if this ever came to be, at least you wouldn't need to leave the house to get that agoraphobia diagnosis.

Survey Says Children Suffer Most From Ongoing ... - Bankruptcy
While recent statistics reveal that the pace of home foreclosure activity is on the decline, the lengthy foreclosure crisis has had a long-lasting effect on the nation?s children, according to a recent report from the Wall Street Journal.
In addition, the foreclosure of more than five million homes since 2007 has had a negative impact on people who were able to keep their homes, as their home values plummeted thanks to neighborhoods gutted by creditors.
And, despite news that the foreclosure crisis may be dissipating, experts still expect three to five million foreclosures in the next few years.
Children Suffer from Home Foreclosure
According to a recent report from the Center for Responsible Lending, one out of every 10 homeowners in the United States is seriously delinquent or facing foreclosure. This has had a terrible impact on the country?s children for several reasons:
- Displacement of families. Sources indicate that eight million children will ultimately be affected by the foreclosure crisis. This figure includes both children of homeowners who lost their homes and children of renters who were evicted when they weren?t able to afford their rent. The state with the biggest problem is Nevada, where almost 20 percent of children have been adversely affected by foreclosure.
- Effects of foreclosure on kids. According to Julia Isaacs, an analyst at the Brookings Institution, children are the ?invisible victims? of the foreclosure crisis because the loss of their homes can foster emotional trauma, missed days at school, a loss of nutrition, and fewer trips to a family doctor.
- Other effects. In addition to the developmental difficulties faced by children during foreclosure, shuttered homes can increase crime in their neighborhoods, and the loss of home equity can force many parents to dip into their kids? college savings plans in order to find a new place to live.
Stopping Home Foreclosure Through Chapter 13 Bankruptcy
So, stopping your home from being foreclosed could offer a wealth of benefits to young children. The trick, however, is to stop the foreclosure in the first place.
By filing for Chapter 13 bankruptcy, many homeowners have been able to stop the foreclosure process and keep their homes out of the hands of creditors.
In Chapter 13, homeowners are given a set period of time in which they can attempt to catch up on their mortgage payments. If, at the end of the three to five year payment program, the homeowners have made consistent payments, the remainder of their debt may be forgiven.

Study: 37% Of U.S. Teens Now Use Video Chat, 27% Upload Videos
Video chat is still something quite a few people don't feel comfortable with. For U.S. teens, however, it is quickly becoming a pretty routine way of communicating with each other. According to a new study by the Pew Internet & American Life Project, 37% of teens now regularly use Skype, Google Talk or iChat to talk to each other. There are significant differences between how many boys and girls use video chat, though. Only a third of boys use video chat while 42% of girls said they have video chatted. Maybe unsurprisingly, those teens who use the Internet more frequently also use video chats more often than their peers who only go online a few times per week. Justin Bieber will show off an even swaggier side of himself tonight when he premieres his "Boyfriend" video on MTV. Before the premiere, Bieber gave fans a sneak peek of the sunny party clip.
The teaser features Bieber snuggling with a very pretty young lady, surrounded by muscle cars and his pals. It was that straightforward concept that intrigued the pop star and his team.
"It was just cars and the simplicity that they liked. Cars, girls, just young people hanging out, having fun, that kind of thing. When I heard it, I thought that's what it should be," Director X, who helmed the clip, told MTV News. "From what they wanted to do with Justin and the song and who he is and his age now, I thought that was it. They should expect the Justin they know, just a little more grown-up."
While he had never worked with the singer before, he admits that, like everyone else in the world, he was fully aware of who Bieber is. "I've seen him. I mean, he's Justin Bieber. There's no way you don't know who the kid is, but I've never worked with him before or met him before. So my exposure to him is the way any other TV watcher, Internet watcher would know him," he said, adding that he left the April video shoot a fan. "He's a good kid. He comes to work, gets the job done, dedicated to the gig. I mean, I like him."
